Our music sessions for pre-school children underpin the musical foundation of learning required for instrumental and voice training once they reach primary age. Each age group enjoys creative musical activities with their adult using instruments, dance, imaginative play, singing and action-packed themes.

Pulse, tempo, pitch and dynamics, as well as a variety of musical styles are all embedded in every lesson. Skilled musicians trained by The Music House deliver each session. We also encourage active participation by early years practitioners, parents and friends.

Baby Music 0-3yrs – More information
Songs, movement, percussive instruments, puppets and brightly coloured props are used together to encourage imaginative physical, sensory and vocal response.

Creative Dance: 2-4 yrs – More information
Skipping, tiptoes, twirling, rolling and physical games are enjoyed using simple balletic and jazzy moves. Mini-stories using a variety of energetic styles make classes highly enjoyable for grown-ups and little ones.

Music Club: 3 – 5yrs – More information
Pre-nursery children explore the basis of music notation using dance, singing, flash cards, musical instruments, games and composition. The Kodaly, Dalcroze and Colourstring methods are seamlessly interwoven into The Music House’s own curriculum to encourage structured and creative learning. Linked to the foundation guidelines these children respond incredibly quickly to later instrumental and primary music tuition instrumental tuition as testified by many parents.

Birthday parties
Birthday parties can be held at The Music House’s early years studio for up to 15 children and their families. The Music House has skilled musicians who can entertain your children with a delightful array of traditional songs, dancing and activities using puppets, scarves, bubbles and musical instruments.
