High quality tutors in instruments including piano, violin, viola, cello, double-bass, clarinet, oboe, flute, cornet, trumpet, trombone, French horn, guitar and drums are provided for families in homes across London.

All tutors are interviewed with references contacted and CRB police checks approved. They are committed, love teaching and bring out the best possible musicality in each pupil they take on.

We embrace and encourage many different methods of teaching. However we recruit only tutors with the same philosophy as The Music House for Children - that is, a sense of 'inspiring music for life' embedded in their teaching philosophy.

Pupils achieve at their pace. Many teachers have worked with special needs and have demonstrated the immense support music can provide for those children.

On approval by the tutor and parent we put pupils through ABRSM graded examinations each term. For those not pursuing examinations we encourage solo concerts in our Edwardian performance hall in West London. This experience provides young performers with immense support in confidence, social skills and musical development overall.

Adults can also be taught and are expected to demonstrate a level of
commitment and continuity.
